Personalitea is where we talk about tea, not only as a commodity, but also as our soul element.
Tea’s history is almost as old and long as time itself (if you don’t count the fact that we now use a different counting system to when tea actually originated, in that sense tea has transcended the time-space barrier to some extent). It is rumored that tea originated in China around 2737 BC when the forces of nature intervened. The wind helped a couple of leaves into a bowl of just boiled water somewhere in China and so the magic started leading to tea originally being used as a means of herbal medication. The Classic of Tea , the first written record of tea, has a special chapter dedicated to myths like this one, but also includes all the practical information that was available at that stage.
What each flavour & scent can tell you about your personalitea is loosely based on the work of psychologist Carl Jung who can be seen as the father of holistic psychology in Western culture. He believed that each person’s personality is based on universal archetypes and that there is a dominant archetype that would account for most of your personality, but that each person ultimately strives to be whole by relating to all archetypes equally in their own unique way. He came up with 12 main personality archetypes. However, keeping a holistic approach in mind, we’ve incorporated other elements into our repertoire.
While talking about which teas suit you the best, which health benefits each tea offers and where to procure and prepare your favourite ones we also philosophize about just about anything from any genre ever. Trying to put us in a box is futile, just like buying a cool new tea and never using it because you don’t know how. We provide insightful, out there ideas to inspire you to get the most out of your personalitea, which ultimately leads to a better, more fulfilling life. The key is not to tell you how you are, but help you understand how to become who you want to be, with the help of our good old friend tea. Put that in your cup and drink it!
